The Dragon's Head Blog: Taoist Tai Chi Awareness Day in Rome, Italy
On Saturday, October 13 we celebrated the 5th Awareness Day of TTCS Italy.
About 50 members from the 4 branches gathered together in beautiful Piazza del Popolo, in Rome, under a warm bright sun, to celebrate and take the opportunity to share with others the many benefits that we receive from the practice of the internal arts of Taoist Tai Chi®.
A major national newspaper, La Repubblica, has covered the event by posting a short article and a video/interview on its online version.
We like to bring you back the words that Franca, a wonderful 90 years old member from Rome, said, with grace and humour (min 1:42): “There is no secret to a long life. But one thing is for sure: I never stopped moving, since I was young, and now I find our tai chi being the ideal practice, allowing me to keep moving ‘almost’ honorably, at my age”
