The Dragon's Head Blog: A Helping of Tai Chi and Paella in Madrid, Spain
On the third day of the international cai chi workshop in the Southern European Centre in Madrid we started by remembering the importance of getting a great opening through the whole set. We have also worked on the turning in the final part of the set, and in danyus, all focusing on roundness.
In the afternoon we have done three sets in a row, finishing with some standing meditation, and read the description of several movements in The Art of Taoist Tai Chi book. As a movement we have practiced the “striking the ears of the tiger” all very round and ample.
After having delicious paella for dinner we have reviewed the movements seen during these three days. We ended the day after 10 pm with a tai chi set.
